Masonry is a school in which the rights of men. The freedom of humanity, and the proper relation between man and man is realized. Not as a conventional method for keeping peace. but as a fundamental principle in Human evolution. Individually and socially.
I am a mason because. I believe living according to Masonic Law, practicing Masonic principles.I can more easily reach the summit of true manhood.For me Masonry means enrollment in the school of the worlds best thought,.And a sincere search after the hidden mysteries,I am a Mason because the whole world is destined to become one vast Brotherhood, driving out selfishness,destroying meanness,abolishing hypocrisy, denouncing Superstition.and so we must always be Industrious ones never sitting contented when ourBrothers are in need and it is in our power to bring relive to them without inconvenience to ourselves
As Hiram prayed Daily for guidance from his God before drawing his designs that would set the craftsmen to work, So must we,As Mason we are taught that before any great and important undertaking we must first Pray.seeking the presence of God to direct us as we draw the designs for our spiritual building. Man in order to build his spiritual building must seek God. he must find that place where he could in his own way seek the face of God asking for his guidance in the building of his edifice that building not made by hands, where even the G.A.O.T.U. would be happy to reside.
